One hundred kopeykas = one grivna (UAH). Grivna is the only legal tender in the country .Ukraine has bills for 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 ,100,200 and 500 grivnas. Coins are : 1, 2, 5, 10, 25 and 50 kopeykas. Grivna can be converted with no problems to hard currency in any bank or in numerous currency exchange offices. But they dont exchange coins , only banknotes .
